As most Luftwaffe unit and personal war diaries were destroyed during the last days of the war, these documents are extremely rare. Therefore, in order to compile unit histories, airfield histories or reconstruct a pilot’s career, the best alternative source of information is the pilot’s log book, or Flugbücher.
Aviation researchers and historians therefore attach great importance to the collection and copying of such documents and, in order to extend our collection, we would be more than pleased to exchange our Flugbücher information with any which other enthusiast may possess. The following is a list of the Flugbücher already in our possession.
If any of the above are of interest to you and you have similar information to offer in exchange, please contact us immediately.
